1. RWAs could see a more than 50-fold increase by 2030 says Tren Finance report - According to a research report by Tren Finance, the tokenised RWAs sector could experience more than 50-fold growth by the end of this decade.“The integration of traditional finance with blockchain technology is not just a trend, but a fundamental shift towards a more accessible, efficient, and dynamic financial ecosystem,” says the report.

2. Phlomis Finance unveils plans to offer tokenised RWAs on Chromia blockchain mainnet - Phlomis Finance, a project incubated by Swedish blockchain pioneer ChromaWay has announced its plans to launch tokenised RWAs on the Chromia blockchain mainnet, marking a significant milestone in bridging the gap between traditional finance and the crypto economy. Phlomis Finance will leverage Chromia's advanced relational blockchain infrastructure and the custom-built Chromia Real World Assets Protocol (CRWA) to power a platform that promises to democratize access to institutional-grade financial instruments. The tokenisation of conventional credit, debt and equity products will aid Phlomis Finance in eliminating barriers that have historically obstructed access to these products.

3. Wall Street’s interest in asset tokenisation growing: Bloomberg Report - As per a recently published report by Bloomberg, Wall Street’s interest in asset tokenisation is growing. According to the report, Wall Street is also embracing blockchain technology as it helps RWAs to be more liquid, cheaper, and faster to exchange. The report also highlights concerns around the use of blockchain technology in exchanging assets, including the fact that if a token is sent to the wrong address or is stolen, then it may be lost forever if a public blockchain is used.

4. EU’s markets watchdogs urges for modifications in MiCA framework - European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) - the watchdog for European markets believes that the MiCA framework for regulating crypto across the EU needs to be modified. The watchdog recently released an official opinion on MiCA encouraging the European Commission to update several aspects of the framework. The opinion especially contains proposed changes to the two regulatory technical standards (RTS) related to data disclosures on intention to provide crypto assets services and the application for authorization as a crypto asset service provider.

5. Rexas Finance to offer access to tokenised real estate to everyday investors - RWA-focused crypto platform Rexas Finance is set to offer tokenised real estate investment opportunities to small and medium investors. Participants will be able to invest in the real estate sector by buying tokens pegged to properties stored on the smart contract database. The tokenization will convert the value of the expensive properties into tokens, thus lowering the investment barriers for many individuals.
