# Welcome to E Money Network

E Money Network is a public permissioned Layer 1 blockchain operated by a separate legal entity and developed in strategic partnership with the Scallop ecosystem. It is designed for on-chain banking infrastructure and interoperability between DeFi 2.0 and real-world asset tokenization, providing the modular backbone for identity, compliance, ownership, and custody proofs.
